“IN THE LIGHT OF THE MYSTIC SEA"

Along the eastern coast of the Avalon Peninsula the sun rises through the storm clouds and the mist of the Atlantic ocean. The dramatic cliffs in Conception Bay North always create an incredible backdrop to the waves crashing along the rocky shoreline. It is a mystical experience when being there in the morning light. My artistic intention is to express this experience as I envision it. I search for the essence of the what makes the experience worthy of artistic interpretation. Although inspired by a specific place along the shore I enjoy artistic freedom of creating the view through my poetic vision.
